 MOVIE REVIEW: SEOUL VIBE (2022)

On the eve of South Korea's democratic transition, a bunch of drivers are involved in a political theft in Seoul Vibe on Netflix.

Seoul Vibes will undoubtedly transport you back to the days when Seoul's streets were alive with anticipation for the 1988 Olympics. Yoo Ah-in, Go Kyung-po, Lee Kyu-hyung, Park Ju-hyun, Ong Seong-wu, and Kim Sung-kyun are among the cast members of the Moon Hyun-sung-directed film.

Although Seoul Vibe makes a valiant effort to lighten up The Fast and the Furious, it really lightens the mood as the viewer indulges in 80s nostalgia.

The 1988 Seoul Olympics' "Seoul Vibe" plot centers on a group of drivers who become entangled in a slush money probe of a significant individual. As these pals get into their target's group and get into a mess like never before, the chase will be exciting and the plot captivating.

Dong Wook (Yoo Ah-in) opens Seoul Vibe by showcasing his prowess while delivering illegal weaponry in the Saudi Arabian desert. We can tell he is not only well-known but also among the greatest at executing this profession by the way the receiver regards him.

A prosecutor wants to hire him to infiltrate a gang that has a hidden fund that is more valuable than anyone can imagine. He calls himself the best driver in the world, and as soon as he returns to South Korea, he is sought after.


The narrative will then begin, drawing your attention to the screen as Dong Wook's driving really grabs your interest. Even though there may not have been as many surprises, the movie absolutely captured my interest and was well worth watching.

He kills a man in the first ten minutes, then hides the body in the trunk of his car. From here, things can only get worse.
