Review of the Netflix film "Royalteen"
Although rom-coms frequently demonstrate that love is rarely straightforward, Royalteen stands out for the way several individuals interpret the same lovelorn relationship.
High school students have a lot to deal with, and they frequently keep a part of themselves hidden. It's never easy for them to get through those years, whether they aren't themselves around their pals or have a secret past that they can't share. It can be too much for anyone to bear when you combine all of that teenage angst with living like a king or queen.
In the Netflix original series Royalteen, prince Karl Johan (Mathias Storhi) and newcomer Lena (Ines Hysaeter Asserson) fall in love despite knowing their relationship could put them in a precarious position. While he must carry the weight of an entire nation on his shoulders, she must carry the burden of lies. Who wouldn't want to be the object of a prince's love? In this instance, Lena and Kalle just naturally click, and their connection develops into something very amazing. Lena is a very different person than she used to be and has some skeletons in her closet. The memories with her were intriguing to see because they held back most of the information until the very end.

The romance between Kalle and Lena seemed to come naturally and effortlessly. Since of her experience, Lena is cautious and guarded because she doesn't want to get too close to new people, particularly girls. She used to be a serious party girl, which led to some difficulty for her. She spends a lot of time alone at home, away from her younger brother Theodore.
Once Kalle learns where Lena resides, he frequently visits her and enjoys the fact that she spends most of her time alone. The film focuses on how people are viewed on social media and how everyone assumes they understand what the other person is going through. It's an intriguing idea to study the risks of social media in a private setting with a high school and royal siblings. It all depends on who they believe to be reliable and who is prepared to speak the truth.
What I found most intriguing about Royalteen was that Kalle had a different side to him than Lena was expecting. She had been caring for her brother for so long that she had lost all memory of what it was like to leave the house and lead a regular life. She was unaware that a prince would like to go cautiously and refrain from getting close to her.
Because of the persona that was presented on social media, it was unclear to her. After a heated dispute with an old friend of hers over how she ended up snatching her friend's partner, Lena deleted all of her social media accounts. Everyone was informed. Lena is quite surprised when she learns that Kalle is not who he claimed to be.
In the intriguing novel Royalteen, a young girl who has faced some challenging choices in her life gets swept away by a single prince. She cares so much about him that she can deal with her history and her demons. She has experienced her version of it, so she doesn't care what others think of him.
Although it's a sluggish movie with a social media theme, Kalle and Lena's romance ultimately takes the stage. There are significant events that change their trip and form their story, but ultimately the outside noise affects both of them. When Lena becomes closer to Kalle, the two sides of her slowly start to emerge, and his sister eventually learns what those skeletons are.
